How it works
CleanTalk checks the availability of your website or its URL at the same time from any 2 of 8 points:
- US West (Oregon)
- US East (Northern Virginia)
- Europe (Frankfurt)
- Asia Pacific (Sydney)
- South Africa (Cape Town)
- Japan (Tokyo)
- Canada (Montreal, Quebec)
- Brazil (Sao Paulo)
Availability checks are made from each point once a minute. It allows you to get more accurate data, you will know up to a minute the time when the problem occurred which means it can be fixed faster. If the time between checks is more than 3 minutes then you can skip the issues that occur in the interval between checks.
The Website Uptime Monitoring Dashboard shows the per-minute dynamics for 7 days for your website. Therefore you can control the site’s parameters and track load problems by the time of the day, view peak site traffic, or hacker attack attempts.
Data older than 7 days are aggregated and show the dynamics of the average indicators for each hour, these data are available for 540 days. You can choose the length of the tracking period of the dynamics of your website for a month, a quarter, six months, a year, or more.
Each of the checking points gives its own test result, this allows you to track your website performance and availability from different geographical points. Your website may be fast for the eastern USA but slow for the western USA and Europe.
