Magento 1.9: How to Update the CleanTalk Anti-Spam Extension

- Go to Magento Administrator Panel —> System —> Magento Connect —> Magento Connect Manager and re-enter your Magento Administration Credentials.
- Find the extension "CleanTalk_Antispam" —> choose "Uninstall" in the pop-down menu —> Commit Changes.
- After successful uninstall press the button "Refresh".
- Download the extension archive from CleanTalk (the link is at the beginning of this page or use the link given to you personally) and place it in your Magento root folder.
- Go back to the page Magento Connect Manager, in "Direct package file upload" section choose the downloaded archive from your Magento root folder and press "Upload".
- After successful installation press the button "Refresh" and go back to the Magento Administrator Panel.
- Go to System —> Configuration.
- In GENERAL —> General —> unroll the inner window "CleanTalk" and make sure that the access key matches the key from your CleanTalk Dashboard. Then press the button "Save Config".
- (Optional) Test the protection by making a registration using the blacklisted e-mail stop_email@example.com.
Congratulations. The Anti-Spam is updated!
