Drupal 8: How to Update the CleanTalk Anti-Spam Module Manually

- Go to Administrator Control Panel —> Manage —> Extend —> Uninstall, choose the module "Anti-Spam by CleanTalk" and press the button "Uninstall". Confirm the uninstalling by pressing "Uninstall" again on the next page.
- Delete the folder "cleantalk" in "/modules".
- Download the plugin archive from CleanTalk (the link is at the beginning of this page or use the link given to you personally).
- Go to Extend —> List and press the button "+Install new module".
- Choose the downloaded CleanTalk archive, then press the button "Install".
- After the process of installation press the line "Enable newly added modules".
- In the "CLEANTALK" category of the module list tick the checkbox near the "Anti-Spam by CleanTalk" line and press the button "Install".
- When you enable the module, the string "Configure" appears in the module's description. Click it.
- Make sure that the access key matches the key from your CleanTalk Dashboard.
- (Optional) Test the protection by making a registration using the blacklisted e-mail stop_email@example.com.
Congratulations. The Anti-Spam is updated!

7. In the "CLEANTALK" category of the module list tick the checkbox near the "Anti-Spam by CleanTalk" line and press the button "Install".
8. When you enable the module, go to Configuration -> Content Authoring. Click it.
9. Make sure that the access key matches the key from your CleanTalk Dashboard.
Congratulations. The Anti-Spam is updated!
